Lindsay France

Lindsay France covers the 2016 presidential elections for RT America. Previously, France covered several international and national breaking news stories such as the 2014 bus bombings in Volgograd, Eurozone austerity riots in Athens, civil unrest in Ferguson, Missouri.  France anchored breaking news coverage of the Boston Marathon bombings, the Iran nuclear deal, and Kiev’s Maidan Square riots. From Kazakhstan, she delivered a three part series on the World Bank's plan to rebuild the Aral Sea and it’s ensuing environmental catastrophe. France returned to Kazakhstan in 2011 to cover the blast off of voyage # to the International Space Station. She began her career at CNN based in New York, where she assisted with the coverage of the 2004 presidential elections, the tsunami in Southeast Asia, the London bombings and Hurricane Katrina. Lindsay was awarded the Steinbrenner Fellowship at Carnegie Mellon University in 2009. She holds a degree in International Affairs from Seattle Pacific University. Lindsay is a member of the Society of Business Editors and Writers and the Society of Environmental Journalists.
