Several thousand government supporters gathered on Taksim Square in Istanbul on Tuesday, rallying for the fourth day in a row after Friday's failed coup. People lit flares, waved large Turkish flags and banners decrying Fethullah Gulen, a Turkish cleric living in US and the person accused of orchestrating the coup. The rally comes as Turkish officials purge various ranks of opponents following the failed coup, with massive suspensions, arrests and dismissals.
