Over 1,500 protesters gathered in the North London on Tuesday to protest against the alleged Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) suicide bombing of Kurdish activists in Suruc in Turkey the day before. The protesters burned IS flags, and marched with pictures of the victims of the attack. At least 30 people were killed and 100 injured in an explosion that hit a cultural center in Suruc. The town is near the Syrian border in southeastern Turkey.
