Kurdish protesters clashed with police outside the Turkish embassy in Athens, Greece, on Wednesday. People demanded the release of former Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) President Abdullah Ocalan, who has been held in isolation in Turkey for 18 years. Police used tear gas and batons to disperse the crowd. The PKK is considered a terrorist organization by Ankara.
