Thousands of Londoners gathered at Trafalgar Square on Thursday to hold a vigil in memory of the Westminster attack victims. London Mayor Sadiq Khan and other British officials joined the mourners, with Khan saying that the event was held not only "to remember those who’ve lost their lives and all those affected by the horrific attack," but "to send a clear message: Londoners will never be cowed by terrorism". Wednesday's assault claimed the lives of five people, including the attacker, and left dozens more injured.
