Clashes erupted on Tuesday evening in the village of Ma'ameer after a Bahraini court postponed the trial of Sheikh Isa Qassim who had his citizenship revoked in 2016. He is accused of “illegal fund collections, money laundering and helping terrorism.” Protesters have launched fireworks and threw stones at police who fired tear gas in return. The court delayed the hearing without offering an explanation.
