Plumes of smoke and ash billowed out of Calbuco volcano, Friday as it erupted for a third time in eight days. Authorities evacuated around 2,500 people living within a 20-kilometre (12.42 miles) radius of the volcano. The smoke and ash blew in a southeasterly direction, covering the town of Cochamo. Calbuco erupted last week for the first time in 54 years, spewing lava and thick clouds of ash and smoke several kilometers into the sky.
