Riot police use rubber bullets, batons on voters in Barcelona

Spanish police cracked down on independence referendum voters in Barcelona using rubber bullets and batons on Sunday. The activists chanted ‘We will vote’ and threw objects at law enforcement. The Catalan referendum was held by local authorities despite the Spanish government and Supreme Court proclaiming it illegal.
