Clashes erupted between police and protesters demonstrating against Brazilian President Michel Temer’s bill on pension reforms and labor law in Sao Paulo, on Friday, April 28. Demonstrators marched toward Temer's official residence with flaming flares but police managed to block them. Enraged protesters started to smash the windows of nearby offices, throw stones and set garbage bins on fire. In response to the riots, police deployed tear gas and detained around 10 protesters.
