Thousands took to the streets of the Macedonian capital for the seventh day in a row on Monday, after the government confirmed snap elections will be held on June 5, as the country grapples with a bitter political crisis. The protesters called for the resignation of Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, who has halted investigations into more than 50 public figures embroiled in a wire-tapping scandal.
