Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov’s offices in Skopje were attacked by anti-government protesters on Wednesday. An angry crowd, calling for the president's resignation, threw firecrackers, smashed windows and burned images of the country’s leader. The demonstration was a response to Ivanov's decision to abolish an ongoing wiretapping investigation connected with high-ranking government officials.
