Thousands of protesters, among them hundreds on motorcycles, hit the streets of Caracas on Sunday, to pay tribute to former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on the third anniversary of his death. The demonstrators gathered at Caracas' military hospital, where Chavez died, before heading to the military academy. The protesters were expressing their dissatisfaction with the Venezuelan opposition and showing support for incumbent President Nicolas Maduro.

Hugo Chavez died in Caracas on March 5, 2013, after losing a two-year battle with cancer.
