Brilliant Easter firework 'war' lights up sky in Greece

Tens of thousands of homemade firework rockets were fired between the two Orthodox churches, Agios Markos and Panagia Erithian, in the Greek village of Vrontados on the island of Chios, as part of an Easter celebration known as the 'Rocket War Event.' As part of the event, each side tries to hit the bell tower of the other side's church first, making them the winners of the 'war'. The two churches are built on opposing hilltops approximately 400 meters away from each other.
