Hundreds of protesters clashed with police in downtown Manila Friday as they denounced what they consider American intervention in the ongoing conflict in Mindanao. Demonstrators chanted anti-US slogans as they burned an effigy of President Donald Trump, positioned atop a missile that was headed with the face of Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte. Demonstrators pushed against a wall of riot police as they demanded Trump stop his foreign policy roll-out in the island region.
