Various social movements brought thousands of people on the streets of Buenos Aires on Wednesday to demand the implementation of social emergency law. Traffic came to a standstill as violent clashes broke out between protesters and police as the crowd tried to march through Pueyrredon Bridge. According to RT's Ruptly video agency, under the Social Emergency Law, the government was due to allocate AR $30 billion ($1.8 billion ) worth of funds to social programs and welfare benefits. However, the senate blocked the law three months ago.
