Hundreds of London’s black taxis blocked the area of Whitehall in London as part of a protest against the state-run Transport for London (TFL) on Tuesday. The protesters’ cars formed long queues, sometimes honking their horns and displaying signs with slogans like ‘Totally Failing London!’ or ‘Say no to Uber’ under their windshields. Drivers blamed TFL for failing to deal with traffic congestion and air pollution, and demanded a public inquiry into the company, while some protesters claimed that TFL had helped Uber.
