The world’s first-ever International Dog Surfing Championship was held at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, California on Saturday. Half a dozen dogs of all shapes, sizes, and breeds surfed in the competition, but it was an Australian Kelpie named Abbie Girl that came in first to take the main prize.
