Russian rescuers and police performed large-scale drills on the first day of the Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition (ISSE) in Noginsk, Moscow region on Tuesday. More than 1,000 service personnel and 300 types of machines and equipment were deployed at the event. Fifteen aircraft took part in the drills, including the amphibious Beriev Be-200, which is capable of dumping 12 tons of water onto a fire. The exercises included extinguishing fires in buildings, as well as evacuating people and rescuing passengers following a train accident – all in the wake of a supposed earthquake.
