Exclusive drone footage filmed by RT captured Russia's latest and most modern Formula 1 Championship Grand Prix racing track in Sochi on Saturday. Built around the former Olympic venue, the Sochi Autodrom features 18 turns and nine corners, including 12 right-hand turns and seven left-hand turns. Its longest circuit length is 5.853 km (3.637 miles) and its shortest circuit length is 2.313 km (1.437 miles). Russia received the right to hold the staging of the championship in October 2010. According to an agreement with Formula 1, Russia will host a number of stages of the Grand Prix until 2020. Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to attend the Russian Grand Prix, part of the Formula One World Championship in Sochi on Sunday.
