Several hundred thousand protesters marched through Paris to rally against the labor reforms proposed by the government. The protest was organized by various student groups, left-wing political parties and labor unions who are worried at the government's attempt to scrap the country's labor laws.

Dozens of hooded protesters broke away from the march and vandalized shops and ATM machines, with riot police deployed and several arrests made during the rally.
