Hundreds of protesters rallied outside the Ukrainian Parliament (the Verkhovna Rada), in Kiev on Tuesday, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The crowd blocked traffic in the streets surrounding the parliament building. Protesters waved Ukrainian nationalist Svoboda party’s flags, banged steel drums and carried effigies of Yatsenyuk and former head of Ukraine's Presidential Administration, Sergey Pashinskii.
