Thousands of New Yorkers march demanding $15 minimum wage

Thousands of protesters filed through Manhattan, New York, on Tuesday, to call for a state-wide minimum wage of $15. The protesters marched past Wall Street, holding banners reading "a living wage = quality" and "vote for $15 and affordable child care." The protests organised under the motto of 'Fight for $15' kicked-off across the US with tens of thousands of workers and their sympathizers taking part in rallies in Detroit, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles.
