Some 25,000 people flooded the town of Dinant, in the Belgian province of Namur, on Saturday to watch one of the world's oddest races, in which bizarrely decorated bathtubs sail along the River Meuse. Unlike previous years, this time the regatta had no theme, resulting in a curious array of boats, decorated with everything from palm trees to mini-houses and Viking-esque designs. The tubs raced along a 1 kilometer stretch, and had to be propelled solely by human force.
