An ordinary domestic cat adopted a baby lynx called Nika at the Novosibirsk Zoo in Siberia, Russia, on Thursday. One of the zoo employees decided to bring her cat to the zoo after the mother of the lynx refused to feed her cub because it was the runt of the litter. The zookeeper’s pet had recently had kittens and she soon started nursing the little lynx along with her own brood.
