At least 3,000 people took to the streets of Dresden to support the right-wing group Pegida on Monday. Protesters waved banners against the “Islamisation of Europe,” migration into Europe, NATO and current German Chancellor Angela Merkel. Over 150 policemen monitored the rally and kept away anti-Pegida protesters.
