Mikko Rantanen scored an overtime goal after tying the game at 2-2 with less than three minutes remaining in the third period.

We don’t lose at home,” the Avalanche tweeted after the win, praising their fans for the incredible support during the heart-stopping thriller.

Calgary goaltender Mike Smith had an incredible 44-save effort in regulation. However, his heroics were not enough to seal the victory.

Avalanche goaltender Philipp Grubauer made 30 saves in regulation and saved his team from a seemingly inevitable goal in overtime, making an amazing stop with his foot.

Colorado is now one win away from entering the next round of the playoffs where they will face the winner of the tied series between the San Jose Sharks and the Vegas Golden Knights.
