At least 2 killed as powerful tornado rips through Oklahoma (VIDEOS)

Numerous houses were destroyed, trees uprooted and vehicles overturned as a powerful tornado tore through Oklahoma, USA, overnight. At least two people have been reported dead.

One man was killed in Wynnewood, with another dying in Connerville when the tornado struck near his home.
At least one other person was injured in Murray County and was rushed to a nearby hospital. The person’s condition is not yet known.
Omaha and Nebraska were hit by baseball-sized hail that caused thousands of dollars worth of damage. Forecasters are calling it a life-threatening situation.
Livestock were also killed by the powerful twisters, while highways remain closed after severe damage left by the 217km/h tornados, a speed estimate from America’s National Weather Service.

Tornado season is well underway in Oklahoma and will roughly last until the end of August.
