'Just a skater in underwear': World and European champion posts provocative snaps on Instagram

World-renowned Russian figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva has posted several pictures from a revealing photo session where the athlete poses in seductive black lingerie.

The 2015 World and European champion captioned the pictures 'Just a figure skater in underwear' which she shared on her Instagram account.

Tuktamysheva, 21, was among the few female skaters who successfully landed triple axel in official competitions, an extremely difficult jumping element which helped her to win all major international events in 2015.

However, a year later, despite being the reigning world champion, Tuktamysheva failed to make it to the national team - finishing far behind the top three at the national championship.

With the emergence of extremely talented skaters, like Evgenia Medvedeva and Alina Zagitova, competition inside the national team intensified leaving well-experienced skaters like Tuktamysheva behind the squad.

However, the 21-year-old Tuktamysheva, who was not selected for the 2018 Olympics in South Korea, continues her preparation for the upcoming figure skating season. She is now setting her sights on taking the coveted berth to represent Russia again at major international competitions.
