Obama’s United States empire?

Despite his well-branded image as a man of change, Barack Obama is in reality a Bush follower, says Margaret Kimberley, a journalist for the Black Agenda Report magazine.

”He has been escalating US involvement in Afghanistan from the moment he stepped into office last January. So the facts are, there has been no change in this policy, as in many others, domestic and foreign, but particularly it’s pronounced in foreign policy,” she said.

”The United States still behaves like the empire that it is,” Kimberly added.
