Countries must agree to drastically cut emissions – activist
The only way the Climate Summit can succeed is if the stakeholders agree to make drastic emission cuts and the US joins the deal, says Sunita Narain, Director of the Center for Science and Environment in India.
“We are in a kindergarten state,” said Narain of the current state of the Copenhagen talks. “It’s a conversation of the deaf. Because we are certainly not making progress and saying that the real big issue is cutting emissions.”
