Salisbury police chase naked couple through city center after sex romp in park

Salisbury Police have enough to do – investigating the Skripal poisonings – but as the weather heats up, so do the locals. Two people thought a bit of al-fresco park sex would be a good way to ring in the weekend… they were wrong.

As is the want of the English people when the temperature gets above 15 degrees, Salisbury locals flocked to the park, sunning themselves in the Queen Elizabeth Gardens.

The heat got too much for one couple, who ditched their clothes entirely in a nearby field, getting down and dirty right there and then… at 17.45 in the afternoon. The police were subsequently called, and chased the raunchy (and still naked) duo through the city center.

Wiltshire Police confirmed that a man in his 20s and a woman in her 40s were later located and interviewed by police for outraging public decency. An exasperated Chief Constable Kier Pritchard took to Twitter to address the incident, curtly reminding the community that the local police have enough on their plate right now.

"There's something in the air in Salisbury… something that shouldn't be seen in public!” he posted on Twitter. "Behave this summer, we've already got enough to deal with!"

Pritchard’s force is investigating the March poisoning of Sergei and Yulia Skripal, who were discovered slumped on a bench at the Maltings Shopping Centre in Salisbury on March 4 after they were poisoned with A-234 nerve agent, also known as Novichok.

The father and daughter were left in a serious, life-threatening condition in the weeks that followed. Yulia, 33, was discharged from hospital earlier this month. Sergei, 66, is taking longer to recover but is understood to be awake and improving.
