'You're too short to talk': Ronaldo trolls Roma's Florenzi - who then scores in 2-0 win (VIDEO)

Cristiano Ronaldo was left red-faced during his side's defeat to Roma at the weekend after Roma captain Alessandro Florenzi scored the opener in a 2-0 win minutes after being mocked by the Portuguese ace for his height.

Juventus' march to their eighth consecutive Scudetto has been set in stone for weeks but the newly reconfirmed Italian champions haven't had it all their own way on the domestic or European front. 

The Old Lady were knocked out of the Champions League in the quarter-final stage by surprise package Ajax, a disappointment considering their designs on the trophy and the recruitment of the superstar Portuguese.

On the home-front, however, Juventus have had everything their own way. Well, almost everything. Max Allegri's side suffered just their third defeat of the season to Roma on Sunday in the Italian capital, with late goals from Florenzi and Edin Dzeko sealing an important three points for a side chasing Champions League qualification.

Alessandro Florenzi, the Roma skipper, will have another reason to be satisfied with the result given a testy exchange with Ronaldo while the scores were still level at 0-0.

The pair clashed on the hour when Ronaldo failed to put the ball out of play when Bosnian striker Dzeko needed medical treatment, with Florenzi confronting the five-time Ballon d'Or winner. Ronaldo appeared to retaliate by mocking Florenzi, who is 5 ft 8 in, for his diminutive stature, allegedly shouting "you are too short to talk". Ronaldo then seems to apologize and offer a hug.

The Italian would certainly have the last laugh however, after he was set up for the first goal in the 79th minute by Dzeko, who turned scorer by adding a second in injury time. 

The defeat for Juventus was also marked by the unveiling of their controversial new home strip, which sees the club abandon the traditional black and white strikes in favor of a half white, half black two-tone approach.
