Their joy at the decision is tempered, though, by Washington's impending appeal and by his remaining in British custody. We get reaction from one of Assange's high-profile supporters. Press-freedom groups are also concerned by the ruling as the judge largely supported America's espionage charges against Assange, refusing to extradite him only because of concerns over his mental health.
