US Congressman’s links with Iran: new blow for two countries’ ties

There has been another blow to American-Iranian relations as new information shows that a US congressman’s links with Iran may have been the reason he resigned from the House of Representatives in 2006.

Last week the US government seized property from a charitable organization that it believes is a fund for the Iranian government.

RT contributor and investigative journalist Wayne Madsen says that former Ohio Republican Rep. Bob Ney’s links to Tehran may have been the reason he resigned in 2006.

He told RT it appears that America is intentionally ruining its links with Iran.
