“START is significant for European countries”

If the U.S. and Russia are in agreement at least on the START treaty, then it creates a good climate for the European Security Architecture, said Hans-Henning Schroeder of the Research Center for Eastern European Studies

“The whole security architecture of Europe is the old one: European Union and NATO,” he added. “And there are a lot of countries beyond this secure order. And what we should do is to create a new order which integrates all these countries, including Russia.”
