Shadow wars? Turns out Americans have no clue about secretive US military ops in Africa (VIDEO)

A recent report detailing the size and scope of US military operations in Africa has gone largely unnoticed, with RT finding that many Americans are still unaware of their country’s secretive activities across the continent.

Between 2013 and 2017, US special operations forces carried out combat missions in at least 13 African nations, according to Yahoo News. The outlet identified 36 recent or ongoing military operations across Africa – a startling figure that remains unknown to many Americans.

RT asked people on the streets of New York if they recognized any of the cryptic names used by the US military for their shadowy Africa operations – but no one was able to make the connection.
