The US is counting the cost of its latest rail disaster in Hoboken, New Jersey which has reportedly claimed one life and injured up to 100 others.

There has been a series of deadly crashes in the US; from a suicide attempt which resulted in the death of 11 people, to a horrific chemical spill in South Carolina.
