Tories have given up on Brexit, Tony Blair’s former spin doctor Alastair Campbell tells RT (VIDEO)

The Tories have given up on trying to claim Brexit is a good thing, Tony Blair’s former spin doctor Alastair Campbell has told RT. Speaking on The Alex Salmond Show, Campbell said he has never seen a more incompetent government.

“I do feel that the ground is shifting. They’ve given up saying this is going to be great. Their only argument is we voted for it, we have to make it happen,” Campbell said. “Nobody thinks the government’s handling it well.”

“The country is now getting really concerned with the idea that we’re putting our future in the hands of these people. I have never seen a more incompetent government frankly anywhere in the world, anywhere in Europe as this one.”

Campbell said Prime Minister Theresa May is a prisoner of the party right, Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson is a proven liar, Trade Secretary Liam Fox is wandering around the world on his planes making no progress, and Brexit Secretary David Davis lacks confidence.
