Goalkeeping great Iker Casillas to ‘retire from football’ following heart attack
The 37-year-old goalkeeper will soon announce his retirement as a professional player, but will remain in the FC Porto off-field structure, as Portuguese outlet O Jogo reports, citing club's president Pinto da Costa.
The former Real Madrid man was rushed to hospital after suffering a medical emergency on May 1 at the FC Porto facility.
