American boxing superstar Floyd "Money" Mayweather is never shy about his wealth, and the 41-year-old Las Vegas native took things to a new level in a recent Instagram post.

In a video post to promote his partnership with jewelry company Jadelle Beverly Hills, Mayweather donned a black and gold outfit with a host of diamond-encrusted bracelets, necklaces and rings.

To complete the ensemble, Mayweather sipped red wine from a gold goblet while standing in a pile of dollar bills.

He posted: "Real Royalty. Everything I got on is real, even the cup I’m sipping out of is real gold and if you don’t like it... you’re a REAL HATER! Now that’s some real s**t."

Mayweather's latest appearance flaunting his wealth came after he announced that his young protege Gervonta Davis will take on Tenshin Nasukawa in an exhibition bout in April.

Davis successfully defended his WBA super-featherweight title at the weekend with a first-round knockout of former champion Hugo Ruiz.

And after the bout, Mayweather confirmed the next steps for Davis, with the 24-year-old, 21-0 fighter set to face the young Japanese kickboxer Mayweather defeated at Rizin 14 on New Year's Eve in Saitama, then move on to make the next defense of his world title.

"We're talking about May, if that's okay with him," said Mayweather.

"He got an exhibition bout with the guy Tenshin in Japan, in April. He is fighting Tenshin in an exhibition match in Japan, in RIZIN.

"I'm proud of 'Tank'. He is going to stay active. So first it's Tenshin in April and then in May it's the real fight."
