Skateboard sensation: Tony Hawk skates first-ever horizontal loop (VIDEO)

Legendary boarder Tony Hawk scored yet another first recently by skating the first-ever horizontal loop.

Action footage from the shoot shows Hawk scoping out the loop before a series of attempts as he “learns” the loop and safely crashes several times into padding.

Eventually, he masters it and the result is a smooth, flawless glide up and around the loop before making the descent.
