Some 30 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union, Russia is once again at a crossroads, trying to choose the path of its development. Going west no longer seems an option, especially after the events in Ukraine, but turning east is not so easy either. Has Russia passed a point of no return and where is it likely to go from here? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by Nandan Unnikrishnan, Distinguished Fellow at the Observer Research Foundation in New Delhi.

This interview was held on the sidelines of the Second Central Asian Conference of the Valdai Discussion Club in Nizhny Novgorod.
