Crisis of growth? James Hollis, Jungian psychoanalyst

Carl Gustav Jung, a pioneering Swiss psychiatrist who is now enjoying another rise to prominence more than 50 years after his death, once remarked that we don’t solve our problems but, rather, outgrow them. This may be true for individuals but does it apply to societies too? And if so, why do our societies, despite all the economic and technological growth, seem more infantile than ever? To discuss this, Oksana is joined by James Hollis, Jungian psychoanalyst and author of the upcoming book, ‘Living Between Worlds: Finding Personal Resilience in Changing Times.’
