Google whistleblower reveals censorship

Lee interviews Zach Vorhies, a Google whistleblower, on VIP this week. Vorhies chose to become a whistleblower when he saw that Google had begun pushing their own corporatist worldview and suppressing dissenting voices after Trump came to power. They began to act as gatekeepers for what they considered to be authoritative news, but they were actually going after the right and left wing while boosting friendly voices.
Before the interview, Lee responds to questions that viewers had about his segments on the democracy protests in Hong Kong and Universal Basic Income policies in last week’s show. There is nuance with both stories and the truth lies within that nuance.
