UBI could end poverty, Roger Waters plays for Assange, Amazon creeping on your doorstep

Universal Basic Income has become a popular policy conversation over the last several years as inequality has continued to grow without any action being taken to stem it. Lee covers this policy suggestion to open this week’s show. In other news, we look at the man who was recently released from jail after 30 years for stealing $50, Chicago’s marijuana legalization will also see the criminal records of people arrested for possession of marijuana cleared, and a performance outside of Julian Assange’s jail from Pink Floyd guitarist Roger Waters. Naomi Karavani reports on Israel’s recent 48-hour bombing spree in Syria, Jordan, Palestine, and Iraq. And to finish the show Natalie McGill reports on the newest creepy action from Amazon.
