The riots against police brutality in the United States stretch into a seventh consecutive night. President Trump says that, if the situation worsens, he'll 'do whatever it takes' to end the protests. While Trump talks tough at home other countries call him out for 'double standards' when it comes to White House criticism of how violent protests are handled abroad. President Putin sets a new date for the referendum on amending Russia's constitution, which would allow him to stay in power once his term ends.  It'll take place in less than 30 days.
