War Correspondents

International law prohibits the killing of war correspondents, but according to Evgeny Poddubny, this principle is no longer respected. He reports that blue ‘press’ vests have become the SBU’s priority target. “Wearing a blue vest to stand out is utterly useless. It doesn’t affect our job in any way. Blue vests draw too much attention at the front. It draws enemy fire far too often,” Poddubny reveals. The documentary shows the real fighting through the eyes of journalists risking their own safety to find and promote the truth.
