In 2011, the Arab Spring Protest erupted in Syria. Things quickly turned violent, and Syrians didn’t recognize their country anymore. Samir Alfarra, a TV cameraman from Damascus, shares his personal memories of the long war and his hopes that peace will return to his homeland, while former fighters talk about their scars and how they cope with trauma.
