US to push new tariffs against China

Following renewed optimism spurred by the easing of lockdowns, international markets had one of their best months in history. However, President Trump is contemplating new tariffs on China, alleging that it could have done more at the onset of the novel-coronavirus pandemic.

During the COVID-19 quarantine, with most industry at a standstill, the air seems cleaner. Yet certain 21st-century ‘industries’, such as cryptocurrency mining, have continued. Crypto-miners, once seen as shady characters, might now prove staunch allies in the fight against COVID-19, with blood from recovered coronavirus patients allegedly being offered for sale on the dark web.
