Coronavirus: Tariffs on hold while uncertainty looms

Covid-19 has taken hold around the world and rocked the economy. The IMF says we are in a global recession at least as bad as what we saw in 2008. Markets have seen one of the worst quarters in history as the pandemic stalls international growth. Consumer staples remain strong as Americans hoard items like toilet paper and cleaning agents. The Trump administration will defer US tariffs for most-favored nations for three months amid uncertainty over what lies ahead after the outbreak. Meanwhile, video conferencing platform Zoom is being slapped with a lawsuit for allegedly selling personal information to Facebook and other third parties.
